Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 championships have been achieved on hard courts
A revitalized Medvedev won his first championship for over two years with a win over opponent Moutet in the tournament title decider.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has endured a difficult period, achieving just one win at the big events and suffering a difficult moment at the American major.
His unpredictability on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his serving in especial - caused him exiting of the world's top 10 and finally splitting with long-term trainer Gilles Cervara.
Now working with his coach and his other coach, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the past month - culminating in a tightly fought three-set victory over opponent Moutet.
It is the player's initial title after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court after spring of the previous year.
Success also means Medvedev has won twenty-one victories at 21 distinct tournaments.
"For the first time I'm at a tournament with my children at once, so to secure a trophy is really nice," said tennis professional the champion.
"This title is in honour of my child my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six title deciders, including in the German tournament in the past months.
Medvedev's counter-punching strategy and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted commentators to question if his ability to perform at the elite level was concluded.
However the player has made changes in recent weeks, attempting to approach the net and compete assertively, supported by an enhanced serve.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, winning 4 of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The competitors traded breaks in the second set before the challenger, attempting for his first ATP Tour title, seized the initiative to force a decider.
He rescued 4 initial break points in a tight deciding set before Medvedev broke to that score to close out the victory.
Suitably, he clinched the win with a rally at the net area, with the Frenchman failing to manage a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
